CIBC opens new banking centre in Belleville

    BELLEVILLE, ON, Feb. 4 /CNW/ - Today, CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) opens the doors
to new 5,200 square-foot full-service banking centre in Belleville on Bell
Boulevard between North Front Street and Sidney Street. This new and larger
branch replaces CIBC's existing location at North Front Street and Bell
Boulevard.
    "CIBC's new location in Belleville allows us to better serve our clients
and demonstrates our commitment to meeting the financial needs of this vibrant

"Our new Belleville branch offers a full range of advice, service and sales
offers and the significant investment CIBC is making in Belleville allows us
to provide our clients with greater flexibility, access and choice."
    The new branch will be open six days a week and features extended
operating hours. The hours of operation are:Monday - Wednesday:  9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
      Thursday - Friday:   9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
      Saturday:            9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.The new Belleville branch is located in a developing regional shopping
centre, and features extended hours and four Automated Banking Machines
(ABMs). This new branch is part of CIBC's strategic plan to build, relocate
and expand over 70 new branches across Canada by 2011.
