Media Advisory - CIBC to hold Annual Meeting and release First Quarter 2010 Results on February 25

TORONTO, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - CIBC's (NYSE, TSX: CM) Annual Meeting of Shareholders will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, 900 Rene Levesque Boulevard West, Montreal, Quebec. The business of the meeting will include the election of directors, appointment of auditors and consideration of and voting on shareholder proposals.

A live audio webcast of the Annual Meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. (EST). Speeches and slide presentations that accompany the event will be available on www.cibc.com, About CIBC on February 25, 2010 prior to the start of the meeting. The webcast will also be archived for those unable to listen to the live event.

CIBC will also be announcing its fiscal 2010 first quarter results on Thursday, February 25, 2010. The results are expected to be released at approximately 6:00 a.m. (EST), followed by a live audio webcast and teleconference call with analysts, investors and media at 7:00 a.m. (EST).
