CIBC celebrates the grand opening of new National Capital Region branch

Kids can meet *Dora the Explorer™; guests can win an Apple laptop or $1,000 GIC

OTTAWA, May 14 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, CIBC will celebrate the grand opening of its new 7,900 square-foot branch in the South Keys Shopping Centre at the corner of Bank Street and Johnston Road in south Ottawa. The new branch consolidates CIBC's Conroy & Lorry Greenberg and 1800 Bank Street locations into larger state-of-the-art premises to better serve the community and offers extended hours and service in English, French, Arabic and Hindi.

Kids at the event can meet *Dora the Explorer™ from 12 to 3 p.m. and families can enjoy a variety of fun activities, including a bouncy castle, face painter, henna artist and DJ. Guests can enter to win great prizes like an Apple laptop or a $1,000 GIC while a barbecue, snacks and refreshments will be served.

The branch hours of operation are:

Monday - Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    Thursday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The new branch is barrier free with accessibility features such as a sit down teller station and four Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance. The branch also features a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
