From Burlington to Barrie, spacious, fully accessible branches and extended hours will offer clients more opportunities to talk to a CIBC financial advisor

TORONTO, Oct. 4 /CNW/ - Today, CIBC announced it is continuing to invest in its branch network across the country with the addition of 15 full-service banking centre locations to be opened or expanded, including seven locations in the GTA. By building new state-of-the-art banking centres and expanding or enhancing existing locations, CIBC is looking to strengthen its presence in some of Canada's fastest growing communities.

-  Mapleview Drive and Highway 400 in Barrie in summer 2011
      -  Upper Middle and Guelph Line in Burlington in fall 2010
      -  Donald Cousens Parkway and Highway 407 in Markham in fall 2011
      -  Markham Road and Bur Oak Avenue in fall 2010
      -  Stevenson and Highway 401 in Oshawa in spring 2011
      -  Dufferin Street and Rimrock Road in Toronto in fall 2010
      -  East Liberty Street and Lynn Williams Street in Toronto in summer
         2011

CIBC's new fully accessible branch design includes teller stations that allow clients to sit while speaking to a teller for greater comfort as well as Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance.
