CIBC opens larger, state-of-the-art branch in northeast Markham

Spacious, fully accessible location offers service in six languages

MARKHAM, ON, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - Starting tomorrow, Markham residents will be able to bank and get financial advice six days a week at the new 6,600 square foot CIBC Hwy 48 & Bur Oak Banking Centre. The new branch at Highway48 (Markham Road) and Bur Oak Avenue replaces CIBC's existing premises at Highway 48 and 16th Avenue to better serve the growing community. To mark the opening, the branch will be featuring time limited special offers and a prize draw.

Branch Manager Mariana Reis and her team invite clients and the community to an opening celebration on Saturday, December 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring refreshments, entertainment and giveaways.

The new branch offers extended hours as well as service in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and Italian.

9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The barrier free branch features a sit down teller station and four fully accessible Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance.
