CIBC opens temporary branch in High River to assist clients and community

CALGARY, July 11, 2013 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) announced today it has opened a temporary branch in High River to give clients and community members impacted by recent flooding access to financial advice and ABM services.

While the High River branch undergoes renovation, the temporary facility is located in the parking lot next to the branch at 403 1 St. W in High River.  CIBC Advisors will be on hand to offer advice to clients, Monday to Friday between 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Clients who need to perform cash transactions can use the CIBC ABMs on site, or can visit a nearby CIBC branch.

As a service to the High River community, non-CIBC clients using one of the CIBC ABM units at our temporary location will not be charged a convenience fee.

"CIBC is committed to supporting the High River community as we begin the process of rebuilding," said Mark Galbraith, Region Head - Alberta, CIBC. "While, the devastation caused by the flooding throughout the area has been unprecedented, so has the spirit and strength of the community. Our CIBC team in High River is here to offer our neighbours the financial advice and support they need to manage through this difficult time."
