Media Advisory - Special citizenship ceremony to be held at CIBC in Toronto as part of Canada 150

TORONTO, Jan. 27, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, and Victor Dodig, CIBC President & CEO, will welcome 21 new citizens at a special citizenship ceremony hosted by CIBC in celebration of our nation's 150th birthday in 2017.

This is the first in a series of citizenship ceremonies across the country that CIBC is honoured to host in partnership with the IRCC in celebration of Canada's and the bank's shared 150th birthday this year.

Along with new Canadians receiving their citizenship, Canadians across the country are encouraged to reaffirm their citizenship and share what citizenship means to them on social media using #MyCitizenship and #StandForCanada.
