Thompson joins hockey phenom Connor McDavid as CIBC 150 brand ambassador
COLLINGWOOD, ON, March 2, 2017 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) is excited to host a public meet-and-greet with Canadian Ski Cross champion and Olympic gold medalist Marielle Thompson at the Collingwood CIBC Banking Centre this Friday March 3rd, ahead of the 2017 Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup, taking place on the hills of Blue Mountain, March 3-5.
During her visit, an official announcement will be made to welcome Thompson into the CIBC Family as a CIBC 150 Brand Ambassador. Thompson, who clinched the World Cup ski cross crown this past Saturday in Sunny Valley, Russia, will join the ranks of CIBC 150 Brand Ambassador, hockey great Connor McDavid, to help CIBC amplify its 150th shared birthday with Canada this year.
