CIBC announces the locations of seven new banking centres to open in the GTA
TORONTO, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX; NYSE) - CIBC today announced the locations of seven new full service branches in the Greater Toronto area to provide its clients with greater flexibility, access and choice. These new branches are being opened in the high-growth communities of Aurora, Brampton, Milton, Richmond Hill, Vaughan and Whitby. "The Greater Toronto Area includes the fastest growing municipalities in the country. These new full service branches are meant to keep pace with these high growth communities," said Larry Tomei, Senior Vice President of Central Ontario, CIBC Retail Markets. "The significant investment we are making in our GTA branch network over the next few years will help us achieve our goal of being a leader in client relationships." The new locations include:- Bayview and Wellington in Aurora, ON; - Bovaird and Airport Road in Brampton, ON; - Thompson and Steeles in Milton, ON; - Yonge and Tower Hill in Richmond Hill, ON; - Dufferin and Major Mackenzie in Vaughan, ON; - Jane and Norwood in Vaughan, ON; and - Taunton and Garden in Whitby, ON.As part of its strategic plan, CIBC will build, relocate and expand over 70 new branches across Canada by 2011.
