Sunday banking hours at three CIBC branches in the GTA to begin on December 2

    CIBC providing its clients with the advantage of more flexibility, access
    and choice

    TORONTO, Nov. 21 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) - CIBC announced today that
three of its high-traffic branches located at Bathurst and Lawrence, Dundas
and Spadina, and Bayview Village will be open on Sundays from 12 noon to
4 p.m. commencing December 2, 2007.
    "We are opening on Sunday to serve our clients better," said Larry Tomei,
CIBC's Senior Vice President of Retail Markets for Central Ontario. "Sunday
branch banking gives our clients the advantage of doing their banking on their
terms with greater flexibility, access and choice."
    These full-service branches will offer clients access to a full range of
transactional services, sales and advice.
    Opening select urban branches on Sundays is one more way that CIBC is
providing its clients with more options and flexibility. CIBC will also
continue to offer its clients evening and Saturday banking hours in many of
its 1,048 branches, as well access to its more than 3,800 automated bank
machines. Additionally, CIBC clients benefit from 24/7 service over the phone
and on Canada's leading online banking site, www.cibc.com. The branch at
Bathurst and Lawrence will remained closed on Saturdays.
