New CIBC ENVIRO-SAVER Mortgage Offers Energy and Cost Savings for Clients

    TORONTO, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX; NYSE) - CIBC's new ENVIRO-SAVER
Mortgage gives Canadians an opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of
their homes, benefiting the environment and generating a cost savings for
clients by reducing their household utility bills.
The offer, available through all CIBC branches, CIBC Mortgage Specialists
and through CIBC Telephone Banking, provides clients with a gift certificate
of up to $300 to have an energy audit conducted on their home when they
finance their home improvements with a qualified CIBC mortgage. The audit will
identify how the client's home uses energy and which improvements would offer
the greatest increase in their home's energy efficiency, leading to both lower
energy consumption and lower utility costs over the long term. Government
grants may also be available to clients for some of their energy efficient
upgrades.
"We recognize that many of our clients are increasingly aware of the
impact they have on the environment, and are looking for ways to reduce their
household energy consumption," says Raza Hasan, Senior Vice-President,
Mortgages and Lending, CIBC Retail Markets. "The CIBC ENVIRO-SAVER Mortgage
offer meets this growing need by giving clients the information they need to
make environmentally sound home improvement choices, and financing them at
competitive rates."
The offer also includes valuable coupons offering savings of up to $1,000
on common household services.
More information about the ENVIRO-SAVER Mortgage is available at
