CIBC's client website finishes 2007 on top
Highest-Scoring Canadian bank tops best U.S Bank Score TORONTO, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) - CIBC's client website, www.cibc.com, has received the highest score in 2007 when comparing the overall scores of two separate studies conducted by Forrester Research Inc. in 2007. Forrester evaluated the seven largest Canadian banks' websites for the past two years. This year, rankings have been expanded to a separate review of the top five U.S. banks in terms of assets. When comparing the overall scores of the two studies, CIBC's client website www.cibc.com, topped the scoring as the "the strongest overall site" in the Canadian review. In addition, "U.S. bank websites did not score as well as Forrester had anticipated," wrote Brad Strothkamp in his November 2007 report, "2007 U.S. Bank Public Website Rankings. CIBC topped the year's rankings by excelling in many of the key assessment areas, including website navigation and presentation, along with providing strong product content and tools," wrote Strothkamp in his April 2007 report, "2007 Canadian Bank Public Website Rankings".
