Media Advisory - Photo Opportunity: 2007 CIBC World Markets Miracle Day Results Announcement
TORONTO, Dec. 17 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) - At 12:30 p.m., Tuesday,
December 18, 2007, CIBC World Markets will announce the amount of money raised
in Canada on Miracle Day - Wednesday, December 5, 2007 - that will benefit
children in need all across the country. This sum will add to the more than
$180 million dollars that has been raised for children's charities on Miracle
Day over the past 23 years.Who: Ron Schwarz, Managing Director, CIBC World Markets will
announce the amount raised and will make a presentation to the
Salvation Army on behalf of the CIBC World Markets Children's
Foundation
Children from St. Michael Catholic School in Toronto will help
make the announcement
What: Miracle Day: On the first Wednesday in December, CIBC World
Markets sales and trading staff and CIBC Wood Gundy Investment
Advisors in Canada designate their fees and commissions to the
CIBC World Markets Children's Foundation, which supports more
than 400 local children's charities in Canada
Toy Mountain: CIBC employees have donated hundreds of toys for
the CTV and The Salvation Army Toy Mountain, which will be on
display in the lobby of Commerce Court West, where the children
of St. Michael Catholic School will be making crafts.
