TORONTO, Dec. 18 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) - CIBC World Markets today
announced that more than $10.1 million was raised on Miracle Day to benefit
children around the world. On Wednesday, December 5, CIBC World Markets sales
and trading staff and CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors designated their
fees and commissions to the CIBC World Markets Children's Foundation.
    In Canada, the 2007 Miracle Day generated more than $3.3 million that
will go to support more than 400 local children's charities focused on
improving the health, well-being and education of children across the country.

$190 million for children's charities around the world, including: children's
