CIBC introduces Chinese language to all of its ABMs across Canada
Chinese language services now offered by CIBC over the phone, internet, at ABMs, and in many branches across the country TORONTO, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) - Chinese speaking clients can now access any of CIBC's 3,800 automated bank machines all across Canada in their own language. This is in addition to the Chinese language services already available to CIBC clients on the internet, over the phone and in many CIBC branches across the country. "This is all about giving our clients greater flexibility, access and choice - especially new Canadians who are beginning a new chapter of their lives in this country," said Christina Kramer, Executive Vice President, Distribution Services. With over 250,000 new immigrants arriving in Canada each year, this enhancement to CIBC's ABM network is in line with CIBC's ongoing and long-term dedication to diversity. CIBC ABMs have always operated in both official languages. Chinese language is now an additional option available on all CIBC ABMs. "We are committed to making it easier for newcomers to Canada to access banking solutions and advice so they can achieve what matters to them," added Kramer. CIBC is a leading North American financial institution with nearly 11 million personal banking and business clients. CIBC offers a full range of products and services through its comprehensive electronic banking network, branches and offices across Canada, in the United States and around the world.
