CIBC announces three new branches in the Vancouver Lower Mainland
Bringing banking closer to where people live, work and shop VANCOUVER, April 3 /CNW/ - CIBC today announced it will open three new full-service branches in the Vancouver Lower Mainland to provide its clients with greater flexibility, access and choice. These new branches are being opened in the rapidly growing communities of Surrey, Burnaby and North Vancouver. Since October 2007, CIBC has announced six new branches to open in the area over the next two years. In January, CIBC opened the first of these; a new seven-day banking centre in Vancouver's Yaletown. "We are making an important investment in our branch network to provide greater access for our clients in high-growth communities," said Wendy Slavin, Senior Vice President of Western Canada, CIBC Retail Markets. "These branches will feature extended hours and CIBC's full range of advice, sales and service offers to help clients conveniently meet their banking needs." The new Vancouver branches will be located at:- Scott and 88th in Surrey; - Kingsway and Acorn in Burnaby; and - Capilano Square in North Vancouver.As part of its strategic plan, CIBC will build, relocate and expand over 70 new branches across Canada by 2011. Its current network of 1,049 full service branches, combined with these new locations, ensures a strong presence where clients live, work and shop.
