TORONTO, May 8 /CNW/ - CIBC's client website, www.cibc.com, has received the highest score in an independent competitive site assessment of the public websites of Canada's seven largest banks and credit unions by Forrester Research Inc. "CIBC has the strongest overall site," wrote Brad Strothkamp in his April 2008 report titled 2008 Canadian Bank Public Web Site Rankings. "CIBC website's strong presentation, along with a leading credit card site for shoppers, makes it a leader in Canada." "CIBC's site topped our Competitive Site Assessment (CSA) public Web site rankings. CIBC's score was up slightly from its 2007 score," Strothkamp continued. "Our focus is on ensuring that CIBC clients have a great online experience," said Christina Kramer, CIBC's Executive Vice-President, Distribution Services. "We continue to invest in providing greater access and functionality to make it as easy as possible for our clients to find the right information to help them meet their needs. This report just reinforces the things we know our clients love about the site." According to Forrester, CIBC's website "handles task flow well by allowing clients to compare cards right on the credit card overview pages, view details, and apply in a few simple steps...CIBC effectively outlines upfront information and eligibility requirements, setting up expectations for the time needed to apply and when a response can be expected."
