TORONTO, May 14 /CNW/ - CIBC is donating $100,000 to the Canadian Red
Cross China Earthquake Fund to help bring relief to those impacted by Monday's
earthquake in central China.
    "We are joining many Canadians including our clients in supporting the
Canadian Red Cross in their relief and recovery efforts to bring comfort and
medical attention to the victims," said Gerry McCaughey, CIBC's President and
Chief Executive Officer.
    Clients wishing to donate to the Fund may do so at any CIBC branch.
