CIBC cycling with the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau for the third consecutive year

MONTREAL, June 19 /CNW/ - CIBC is proud to be the title sponsor for the
third year in a row of the largest annual fundraising event for the Fondation
Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau: the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau.
From July 7 to 10, the 600-km route will pass through several cities in
the greater Montreal area, Centre-du-Québec, Estrie and Montérégie. Activities
will be organized in CIBC branches located along the way to highlight the
cyclists' route and increase public awareness of their mission.
"The children's courage and the cyclists' dedication are a source of
incredible inspiration and we are pleased to support the Tour and the fight
against cancer," said Sylvain Vinet, Senior Vice-President, Retail
Distribution for Eastern Canada. "CIBC is also proud of the two investment
advisors from CIBC Wood Gundy who, for the fourth year in a row, successfully
raised the funds required to qualify as cyclists in the event."
"It is through the generosity of Canadian corporate donors that the
Foundation is able to accomplish its mission and to give children with cancer
hope of a cure. It is for these reasons that we salute CIBC and its ongoing
title sponsorship of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau," said Pierre Bruneau,
spokesperson for the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau.

CIBC is committed to supporting causes that matter to its clients,
