Pink Ribbon Products Arrive in CIBC Branches Across Canada

    100 per cent Net Funds Raised go to Helping Create a Future Without
    Breast Cancer

    TORONTO, June 19 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX;NYSE) today unveiled the 2008 line
of pink ribbon products, available to the public in support of the Canadian
Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. This year's pink ribbon
products include:-   Necklaces
    -   Bank card protectors
    -   Dog leashes
    -   Car magnets
    -   Pink ribbon socks
    -   Playing cards(*)"CIBC has thousands of employees across Canada who volunteer their time
and energy in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for
the Cure," said Sonia Baxendale, Senior Executive Vice-President, Retail
Markets, CIBC. "Last year, through the generosity of our clients, employees
and the general public, $1.2 million in donations was raised through the pink
ribbon campaign. We are looking forward to kick starting fundraising
activities for the 2008 Run with the arrival of this year's products in our
branches."

    The products will be available at CIBC branches starting mid-June,
excluding branches in the Yukon and North West Territories. Quantities are
limited and available only while supplies last. (*)Note that the playing cards
