Media Invitation - CIBC and YMCA team up to launch Access to Opportunity™
New program provides newcomers with financial literacy and job skills for
a brighter future living and working in Canada
TORONTO, June 23 /CNW/ - At 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2008, CIBC and
the YMCA will launch a new program that builds on YMCA of Greater Toronto's
newcomer services by providing newcomers with the financial literacy and job
preparation they need to get established in Canada.
The program is designed to help create brighter futures for newcomers to
Canada by enhancing their financial literacy as well as the job skills and
knowledge for qualified individuals for employment in the financial services
sector.
Note: Half of all newcomers to the GTA - more than 55,000 immigrants -
