CIBC raises $150,000 for Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau

    Sum represents 30 per cent of Tour's fundraising goal

    MONTREAL, July 10 /CNW/ - CIBC is proud to present to the Fondation
Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau the sum of $150,000 that was raised by
the bank's employees and clients as part of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau.
CIBC, the principal partner of this major fundraising event, has long been
committed to the fight against cancer and this donation by its employees and
clients further demonstrates that commitment.
    "As the principal partner of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau, we want to
make a difference to the life of children with cancer," explained Sylvain
Vinet, Senior Vice-President, Retail Distribution for Eastern Canada. "We
firmly believe that together, we can give hope to these children and to their
families."

us to greatly surpass the results of last year's Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau,"
confirmed Pierre Bruneau, spokesman for the Fondation Centre de cancérologie
Charles-Bruneau. "The 2008 Tour is another great success and it is due to the
collaboration of the cyclists and the corporate partners of the Tour."
