CIBC celebrates the grand opening of its new St. Albert branch with $10,000 donation to local library

ALBERT, AB, May 2 /CNW/ - Today, CIBC celebrates the grand opening of its new 7,400 square-foot branch at the southwest corner of St. Albert Trail and Giroux Road to better serve the growing north end of the St. Albert community. The new branch offers clients full-service banking six days a week, as well as service in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. To mark the occasion, CIBC is making a $10,000 donation to the St. Albert Public Library. The money will go towards a variety of programs, including writing workshops for teens, the purchase of a CD listening station, and a story telephone which enables children to call in from home to listen to stories in a variety of languages. Hockey great, Grant Fuhr, will be on-site for the celebrations signing photos for guests who also have the chance to win one of two electronic prize packs which include an iPod Touch, a GPS unit, a digital picture frame and a $50 iTunes gift card. There will be a variety of fun activities for families throughout the day and clients can take advantage of special promotions and giveaways. The hours of operation at the new CIBC St. Albert Trail Banking Centre are:Monday - Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.The new branch is fully accessible, including three Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) all installed at wheelchair accessible height and offering headphone jacks for audio access; grab bars for mobility assistance; and brighter lighting, plus a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
