CIBC celebrates grand opening of new seven-day banking centre in Vancouver's West End with $5,000 donation to Kids Up Front
Guests can enjoy a barbecue, family activities and enter to win a Sony
    prize-packVANCOUVER, May 30 /CNW/ - Today, CIBC opens the doors to a new 3,200
square-foot branch at the intersection of Denman Street and Robson Street in
Vancouver's West End, one of Canada's busiest shopping destinations. The new
branch is the ninth Vancouver-area CIBC branch to offer clients full-service
banking seven days a week and also offers service in English, Mandarin,
Cantonese and Farsi.
    To mark the occasion, CIBC is making a $5,000 donation to Kids Up Front
of Vancouver, a charitable foundation dedicated to providing children with
access to the arts, sports, recreation and culture who might not have the
opportunity otherwise.
    Guests can enjoy a barbecue and refreshments and a variety of fun
activities for the family including a caricaturist and more. There will also
be a draw for a signed and framed Trevor Linden jersey, as well as a Sony
prize-pack comprised of a Sony Bravia 42" LCD TV and a Sony Blu-Ray DVD player
and clients can take advantage of special time-limited offers.
    "We're excited to bring even more seven-day banking to Vancouver through
our Denman and Robson branch. By opening on Sundays, we are helping our
clients fit banking into their busy schedules," said Wendy Slavin, Senior

to contribute to Kids Up Front on this occasion to help kids reach their full
potential by providing meaningful and life changing experiences to youth in
the West End and other communities across the lower Mainland."

their peers and having opportunities to bond with their families."The hours of operation are:

      Monday - Wednesday:   9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
      Thursday - Friday:    9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
      Saturday:             9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
      Sunday:                    noon - 4 p.m.The new branch is fully accessible, including two Automated Banking
Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks
for audio access; grab bars for mobility assistance; and brighter lighting.
