CIBC and Fernando Pisani to celebrate the grand opening of new branch with $100,000 installment to Canada Company Scholarship Fund
Guests to Edmonton's only seven-day full-service branch grand opening can win one of two computer prize-packsEDMONTON, June 6 /CNW/ - Today Fernando Pisani and CIBC celebrate the grand opening of the new CIBC Namao Banking Centre located at 161st Avenue and 97th Street in Namao. Local residents can bank and get financial advice seven days a week at the new 6,900 square-foot, full-service CIBC branch, which offers services in English, Hindi and Punjabi. To mark the grand opening, CIBC will present its second $100,000 installment towards its $1 million, multi-year commitment to the Canada Company Scholarship Fund. Founded by an association of business leaders who advocate support for today's military and their families, the Canada Company Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance towards post-secondary education for children of military parents killed while on duty in the Canadian Forces. Edmonton professional-league hockey player, Fernando Pisani, will be on-site to sign autographs for hockey fans who can also enter to win a signed and framed Grant Fuhr jersey. There will also be a draw to win one of two computer prize-packs consisting of an HP laptop, cordless mouse and protective sleeve. There will be a barbecue, fun activities for families and clients can take advantage of special time-limited offers and giveaways. "CIBC is committed to investing in the long-term growth of Edmonton.
