CIBC celebrates the grand opening of new seven-day Richmond Hill branch
$5000 donation to Hill House Hospice to mark occasion; guests can enter
    to win a $1000 GIC or one of two Nintendo Wii prize-packsTORONTO, June 7 /CNW/ - Today, CIBC celebrates the grand opening of its
new 6,700 square-foot branch at Yonge Street and Tower Hill Road in Richmond
Hill's new Tower Plaza retail development. The branch offers clients
full-service banking seven days a week in a variety of languages including
English, Cantonese, Farsi, Russian, Greek, Vietnamese, Hindi, Katchi and
Malayalam.
    Guests at the event can enter to win one of two Wii prize-packs which
include a Nintendo Wii console system, Wii Fit and Mario Kart game. Families
can enjoy a barbecue, the performance of traditional lion and dragon dances by
the Sammy Cheng group and a performance by SGPD Bhangra dance troupe, as well
as a variety of fun activities including mini-putt, face painting, a magician
and a caricaturist.
    "CIBC is committed to investing in the long-term growth of Richmond Hill.
Our new Yonge and Tower Hill branch will provide full-service in-branch
banking with convenient hours, including Sundays, to better serve our clients

Hill House Hospice on this occasion as they play an important role in
providing quality care for individuals with terminal illnesses and support for
their loved ones within the community."
    To mark the occasion, CIBC will make a $5000 donation to Hill House
Hospice, a home-like alternative to institutional care and in-home care for
those who are in the final stage of a terminal illness. Located in the heart
of Richmond Hill, the home is well-situated to meet the needs of the broader
York Region community and offers holistic palliative care in a residential
environment that is patient and family focused.
    "We are grateful to CIBC for their generous contribution. At Hill House
Hospice, we are committed to ensuring that those diagnosed with terminal
illnesses receive the best care and quality of life possible," said Anne-Marie
Dean, Executive Director of Hill House Hospice. "We seek to make a difference
in the community and this donation will help us as we provide comfort and
support to the terminally ill, their loved ones and families."
    The new branch is fully accessible, including three Automated Banking
Machines (ABMs) all installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone
jacks for audio access; grab bars for mobility assistance; and brighter
lighting, plus a 24-hour drive-thru ABM for added convenience.The hours of operation are:

    Monday - Wednesday:   9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
    Thursday - Friday:    9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    Saturday:             9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
