Wendel Clark and CIBC to celebrate the grand opening of new seven-day branch in Brampton
$5000 donation to Boys and Girls Club of Peel to mark the occasion; guests can enter a draw to win a TV, barbecue or a signed Wendel Clark jerseyBRAMPTON, ON, June 12 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Toronto hockey legend and former team captain Wendel Clark will help celebrate the grand opening of CIBC's new 6,100 square-foot branch at the southwest corner of Bovaird Drive and Airport Road in Brampton. The new branch, Brampton's first seven-day full-service banking centre offers clients service in a variety of languages, including English, French, Tibetan, Sinhalese, Tamil, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. Guests at the event will have a chance to meet Wendel Clark at a photo signing and can enjoy a performance and interactive dance session by Puja Amin and the Sanskriti Arts Ensemble. There will also be a draw to win a 32" Samsung LCD TV, a Grill Chef barbecue or a signed and framed Wendel Clark hockey jersey. To mark the occasion CIBC will make a $5000 donation the Boys & Girls Club of Peel with funding going towards Breakfast for Kids, a non-profit organization in Peel that operates over 120 breakfast and snack programs in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga. "It is through the support of companies like CIBC that we are able to start new student nutrition programs," said Debbie Smith, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Peel. "Our breakfast and snack programs fill a vital need in the community and we sincerely appreciate the generosity of CIBC and applaud their commitment to eliminating child hunger in our shared community."The hours of operation are: Monday - Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday: noon - 4 p.m.The new CIBC Bovaird & Airport Banking Centre is fully accessible, including three Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access; grab bars for mobility assistance; and brighter lighting, plus a 24-hour drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
