CIBC to offer Saturday banking at six more GTA branches
Greater flexibility for CIBC clients with Saturday hours at more than 140
    branches across the regionTORONTO, June 15 /CNW/ - CIBC today announced that it will introduce
full-service banking on Saturdays at six additional Greater Toronto Area
branches to provide clients greater flexibility, access, and choice. As of
Saturday, June 20, CIBC clients will be able to bank at least six days a week
at more than 140 CIBC branches located in some of the busiest shopping areas
in the GTA.
    "Our investment in extending hours of business in these busy urban
communities gives our clients greater flexibility to do their banking when
it's most convenient for them," said Larry Tomei, CIBC's Senior Vice-President
of Retail Markets for Central Ontario. "Offering Saturday hours also means our
clients have more opportunities to get the advice they need from a CIBC
financial advisor."
    "CIBC's investment in expanding hours is creating job opportunities, as
we've added great people to our team in these communities," added Tomei.
    The following CIBC branches are adding Saturday hours from 9:30 a.m. to 4
pm as of Saturday, June 20:-   Rexdale & Martin Grove in Etobicoke
    -   Davis & Harry Walker Branch in Newmarket
    -   Dufferin & Glencairn in North York
    -   Bathurst & Lawrence in North York (Also open on Sundays)
    -   Danforth Rd & Birchmount in Scarborough
    -   Yonge & Queen in TorontoIn addition to introducing banking services on Saturdays at more
branches, CIBC offers Sunday banking at 37 branches across the country,
including 24 in Ontario.
