/R E P E A T -- Media Invitation - The Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau set to get underway - Take the Tour and continue the fight/
MONTREAL, July 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Pierre Bruneau, vice-president of the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau and also its spokesman, is proud to invite media representatives to the departure and arrival of cyclists taking part in the 14th edition of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau. Presented from July 6 to 9, this 600-kilometre bicycle trek attests to the commitment its participants have made to continue the fight against pediatric cancer. Under the theme 'Take the Tour and continue the fight,' the Tour will see 25 cyclists visit the cities of Trois-Rivières, Joliette and St-Jérôme before returning to Montreal accompanied by 40 additional cyclists on the final day of the Tour. This year, three members of the group Simple Plan will take part in the final day with the objective of raising more than $700,000 for the ongoing development of the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau and for research on pediatric cancer in Québec.DEPARTURE: ARRIVAL: --------- ------- MONDAY, JULY 6, 2009, AT 7 A.M.
