Ira Needles Boulevard location offers Saturday and evening banking; service in multiple languages

KITCHENER, ON, March 25 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Saturday March 26, the doors will open at a new 6,100 square foot, state-of-the-art CIBC branch in Kitchener. The new CIBC Ira Needles & University Banking Centre, located at 120 The Boardwalk, offers Kitchener residents access to full service banking and advice six days a week, as well as service in English, Arabic, Urdu and Punjabi.

To mark the opening, the branch will be featuring time limited special offers, a draw for a Sony Bravia 40" LCD HDTV or a $1,000 GIC and a BBQ on opening day.

"We are investing in Kitchener-Waterloo to offer our clients greater access and choice and enhance their banking experience at CIBC," said Larry Tomei, CIBC's Senior Vice-President of Retail Markets for Central Canada. "Our new Ira Needles location is fully accessible and is open Saturdays and evenings to give CIBC clients the flexibility to bank and talk to a financial advisor when it suits their schedule."

This is the second new CIBC branch to open in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, following the opening of the CIBC Fischer-Hallman & Westmount Banking Centre in December 2009.

The branch hours of operation are:

              Monday - Wednesday:        9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
              Thursday - Friday:         9:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
              Saturday:                  9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The new full-service branch is barrier free with accessibility features such as a sit down teller station and two Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance. The branch also offers a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
