Media Advisory - CIBC celebrates 100 years in Vernon with $5,000 donation to the North Okanagan Youth and Family Services

Donation to help support essential community programs

VERNON, BC, May 6 /CNW/ - CIBC is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its first branch in Vernon with a public open house on Monday, May 9, 2011. As part of the celebrations, CIBC will donate $5,000 to the North Okanagan Youth and Family Services.

"For one hundred years, CIBC has been helping our clients in Vernon meet their financial needs and achieve what matters to them," said Mike Stevenson Senior Vice-President, Western Canada. "We also aim to make a difference in the community by supporting causes that matter to our clients and our employees.
