CIBC celebrates Grand Opening of state-of-the-art new Hamilton branch with family fun

Guests can enter to win a Samsung Home Theatre System or a $1,000 GIC

HAMILTON, ON, May 13 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Saturday, May 14, CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) will celebrate the Grand Opening of the new 6,100 square foot CIBC Rymal Rd E. & Terryberry Banking Centre with clients and the community from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The state-of-the art branch offers full service banking six days a week and service in English, Spanish, Polish and Portuguese.

Guests at the event can enter to win a Samsung Home Theatre System including 50" HDTV 3D Plasma television, blu-ray home theatre player and surround sound speaker system or a $1,000 GIC, as well as enjoy family fun activities, including a DJ, games, giveaways, pony rides, a BBQ, ice cream and refreshments. A ribbon cutting ceremony takes place at 12:30 p.m.

The branch hours of operation are:

          Monday - Wednesday:           9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
          Thursday - Friday:           9:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
          Saturday:           9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Rymal Road E. and Terryberry Road location is the third new CIBC location to open in the Hamilton area, following the opening of new larger Centre Mall and James & Fennell locations in 2009. CIBC also opened a new branch in Burlington at Upper Middle Road and Guelph Line in October 2010.

The new branch is barrier free with accessibility features such as a sit down teller station and two Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance. The branch also offers a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
