"We know from our research that the effects of improper nutrition on our kids can be long-term and sometimes permanent," says Cheryl Doherty, Chief Executive Officer, Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary. "We also know that through our FANS program, we can support these vulnerable kids to feed their bodies, nourish their minds and help them thrive academically. Since the food costs of the FANS program is funded exclusively by donations, we are elated to have the ongoing support of the CIBC and its employees."
