Curtis Joseph and CIBC mark grand opening of second new branch in the rapidly growing Barrie community

BARRIE, ON, June 24 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) Tomorrow, on Saturday, June 25th, CIBC and hockey legend Curtis Joseph will celebrate the grand opening of the new 7,300 square foot CIBC Bayfield & Cundles Banking Centre, replacing the smaller branch on the same lot. Open six days a week, the new branch at the southeast corner of Bayfield Street and Cundles Road will offer Barrie residents extended hours. This is the second branch CIBC has opened within the rapidly expanding Barrie area.

"This spacious, state-of-the-art branch will provide clients with access to our full range of financial solutions and professional advice, to help them achieve what matters."

The branch hours of operation are:

Monday - Wednesday:      9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
          Thursday - Friday:       9:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
          Saturday:                9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Curtis Joseph will meet and greet fans from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Guests at the grand opening can enter to win a Napoleon Propane BBQ worth over $800 or a $1,000 GIC. There will also be a face painter, caricaturist, magician and fun games.

The new full-service branch is barrier free with features like a sit down teller station and four Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height, with headphone jacks for audio access and grab bars for mobility assistance.
