MEDIA INVITATION - CIBC supports ongoing relief efforts in Slave Lake

Corporate and employee donations to be presented to charities in the community

SLAVE LAKE, AB, June 30, 2011 /CNW/ - CIBC and its employees will present donations totalling $29,000 to two charities helping Slave Lake residents at an event being held in the community on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

CIBC employees across the province have raised $14,000 that will be donated to the Rotary Club of Slave Lake to help the victims of the recent fires. In recognition of their efforts, CIBC recently announced it is providing an additional $15,000 to the Canadian Red Cross, which is also supporting the community's recovery.
