TORONTO, Aug. 22, 2011 /CNW/ - CIBC said today it is donating $20,000 to help the community of Goderich recover from the effects of this weekend's tornado.

"The town and its residents have been seriously affected as a result of the significant destruction caused by this storm," said Christina Kramer, Executive Vice President of Retail Distribution for CIBC.  "We want to support the community as it develops plans to help those in need and repair the many buildings that were damaged by the tornado."
