$33 million raised last year for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
VANCOUVER, Sept. 13, 2011 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX) (CM: NYSE) employees across British Columbia and across the country are celebrating Think Pink Week September 12 to 16 to build awareness of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, which last year raised a record $33 million to support breast cancer research, education, advocacy and treatment.
In Vancouver CIBC is hosting an outdoor celebration on September 14 at the front entrance of the CIBC Commerce Place location at 400 Burrard Street. Tickets will be sold for $10 with proceeds going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The fee includes a nutritious boxed lunch, a pink cupcake and an opportunity to register for the CIBC Run for the Cure on Oct. 2.
