Last year CIBC Miracle Day raised nearly $500,000 for children's charities in Calgary through employee donated fees and commissions

CALGARY, Dec. 5, 2011 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) will celebrate its 27th year of CIBC Miracle Day on December 7th by presenting a dozen Calgary charities committed to serving children in need with over $350,000 in donations. Join us for a photo opportunity as children and charities add their cheques to the signature 40 ft holiday tree in Banker's Hall.

WHAT:  Photo opportunity in front of signature 40 ft holiday tree in Banker's Hall to signal the importance of giving during the holidays, especially for the kids. Display cheques will decorate part of the tree.
