• Deferring payments on mortgages, loans and credit card bills;
• Re-amortizing mortgage payments to lower monthly costs; and
• Crediting client accounts for any fees caused by overdrafts, insufficient funds, early withdrawals on term deposits or use of non-CIBC bank machines.

"Our thoughts are with everyone in Alberta dealing with the severe flooding," said Mark Galbraith, CIBC's Region Head for Alberta. "The impact of the floods is unprecedented and many Albertans are dealing with disruption to their income or have unexpected expenses.
