Award helps high-potential youth-in-need pursue post-secondary education and gain practical work experience
VICTORIA, June 24, 2014 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, June 25, CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) will present three high-potential Grade 10 students from the Victoria area with CIBC Youthvision™ Scholarship Awards, a value of up to $40,000 each, at the Westshore Banking Centre CIBC branch.

| WHAT: | The CIBC Youthvision™ Scholarship Program, valued at up to $40,000 per recipient, gives Canada's high-potential youth-in-need the financial means of pursuing a college or university education. This one-of-a-kind scholarship, in partnership with the YMCA and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, provides 33 Grade 10 students with funding for tuition, dedicated mentorship and six years of paid summer internships to help them build a better future and reach their full potential. | ||
