CIBC marks the opening of a Private Wealth Management Centre in Kerrisdale with a $10,000 donation to the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of British Columbia

New Private Wealth Management Centre reflects significant growth of wealth market in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Oct. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - CIBC (CM: TSX) (CM: NYSE) is pleased to announce a $10,000 donation to the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of British Columbia (ANHBC) to mark the opening of its new Private Wealth Management Centre in Kerrisdale.

The donation will support the ANHBC's Youth Search Neighbourhood House Program, which provides youth who are homeless or have left school with the necessary life and training skills to enter and maintain employment.

"We hope this donation will make a difference to young Canadians by helping them to return to school or re-enter the workforce," says Peter Lee, Managing Director and Head, CIBC Private Wealth Management. "CIBC is committed to ensuring that Canada's children and young adults receive the help and education they need to build a better future for themselves."

The new Private Wealth Management Centre, located at 2288 West 41st Avenue, also offers Private Banking services in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
