TORONTO, Sept. 11, 2015 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) invites media to attend the official kick-off to Think Pink Week with His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, as employees ramp up their fundraising activities for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.

Since 1992, the CIBC Run for the Cure has been the largest, single-day, volunteer led national event in support of creating a future without breast cancer with more than 120,000 participants who last year helped raise $25 million across Canada.
