CIBC launches Advice for Today, an online resource focused on financial advice and insight during COVID-19

TORONTO, April 27, 2020 /CNW/ - Today CIBC announced that it has launched an online hub that provides timely financial advice and information to help Canadians through the COVID-19 situation.

"Trusted advice and information are critically important right now in helping our clients make decisions, navigate opportunities and meet financial goals in these uncertain times," says Kathleen Woodard, Senior Vice-President, CIBC Personal and Business Banking. "To support them, Advice for Today brings together insight and advice from across our bank to help Canadians meet their near and long-term priorities."

A range of experts across CIBC, including economists, advisors, and personal and business banking leaders are contributing to the content with a focus on the following:

  • Market Insights: key information on economic impacts and market activity
  • Personal and business finance: resources that explain recent government changes, what these mean for individuals and businesses, and how to plan for the future
  • Families: advice for couples and families who are adapting to new schedules due to COVID-19

Advice for Today supplements CIBC's main COVID-19 advice centre, and will be updated throughout the duration of the COVID-19 situation in Canada. For more information, visit the website here.
