Media Advisory - CIBC to hold Annual Meeting of Shareholders on April 8

TORONTO, April 1, 2021 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. (EDT). To support public health efforts in managing the COVID-19 pandemic this year's meeting will be virtual.

The meeting will include remarks by President and Chief Executive Officer, Victor G. Dodig.

Shareholders and duly appointed proxyholders will be able to ask questions through the live webcast and by telephone.

We encourage shareholders to vote before the meeting by one of the methods described in our Management Proxy Circular and your proxy form or voting instruction form. If you vote in advance, your vote should be received by 10:30 a.m. (EDT) on Wednesday April 7, 2021.
