CIBC's Sandy Sharman named one of Canada's Most Powerful Women

TORONTO, Nov. 23, 2016 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) would like to congratulate Sandy Sharman, Executive Vice-President and Chief Human Resources Officer, for her recognition by the Women's Executive Network (WXN) as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women.

Ms. Sharman's dedication and commitment to the advancement of women in leadership is putting the creation of diverse and inclusive teams at the heart of CIBC's corporate culture.

Both Ms. Dottori-Attanasio and Ms. Kramer are members of WXN's Hall of Fame.

The awards celebrate the professional achievements of strong female leaders across Canada in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. They are presented to remarkable women in nine different categories. The Top 100 women are chosen by an independent advisory board.
